The Health Screening Unit is situated at Floriana Health Centre, Floriana.
The main function of this unit is the following:
1. BCG vaccinations to new born to parents who were born in high risk tuberculosis country.
2. Screening of migrants seeking asylum status in Malta.
3. Mantoux testing
4. TB screening of contacts of infectious TB cases exposed to a confirmed case of Tuberculosis.
5. Screening for tuberculosis of all new local and foreign health care professionals.
6. Screening for tuberculosis in third country nationals.
